Crossing the Streams

Yup, I seem to like torturing myself.  With all of my “spare” time, I took up the challenge of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) which happens every November.  The challenge is to write 50,000 words in the 30 days of November for an average of 1,667 words a day.

My project for 2009 is a modern ghost story in Washington, DC.  I use the same user name on the NaNo site that I use on Twitter, so look for me if you want a writing buddy.

I am a very happy camper today.  I received my invite to Google Wave and while I haven’t played with it too much, I see LOTS of promise in it.

In other news, I need to develop a little presentation on social media for this weekend.  Rush turn-around on short notice…  Sounds about right.

The basic bio is up on the “About” page and the beginnings of my journey into podcasting is under the “Podcasting” tab.  Much more to come…  After I get some sleep.

The links are up and the site is cleaned up a bit.  Not much in the way of new stuff, but now it’s ready.

Yeah…  I tried to update the database on my own.  It didn’t work.  I had to exercise the nuclear option and remove everything back to the foundations.  At least the updates are now in place.

Time to rebuild.
